The Crown Golf family has been involved in the golf course business since the 1950's, when they first became an investor in the Ojai Valley Inn. Since then, thy have expanded their portfolio to include developments such as Stonebridge Country Club in Aurora, IL, and The Snowmass Lodge and Golf Club in Aspen, CO. The Crown family and Crown Golf properties have managed or hosted a variety of professional golf events at their properties. The Ojai Valley Inn & Spa currently hosts the EMC Skills Challenge, and has been the site for the Senior PGA TOUR Classic at Ojai. Stonebridge has been the host site for the Senior PGA TOUR's Ameritech Senior Open, while the Bayou Club has held several LPGA TOUR events. In 1998, Crown Golf opened two new golf courses: River Valley Ranch Golf Club in Carbondale, CO, and South Mountain Golf Club in Draper UT. Steven Crown As Crown Golf's President and CEO, Steve Crown has helped to set the Company's strategy and vision. Steve's broad range of experience has prepared him to lead Crown Golf well into the future. As a general partner in Henry Crown and Company, Crown Golf's primary investor, Steve is also responsible for the oversight of his family's investment in the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa. Steve currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors at prominent organizations such as the Aspen Skiing Company, Evanston Hospital, Hilton Hotels, Northwestern University, and the Art Institute of Chicago and is an active participant in a number of charitable events and boards. Previously, Steve served as Vice President for the Chicago Pacific Corporation and as President and Chief Executive Officer for Uniqey International in Santa Ana, California. Steve received his MBA from UCLA in Los Angles, California.

Scott Flynn Scott Flynn has 20 years experience in all phases of the golf industry. He has served as General Manager, Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional at some of the country's leading golf facilities. Scott began his golf career in 1975 at the 36-hole Jack Nicklaus Golf Center at Kings Island, Ohio, site of numerous PGA, LPGA and Senior PGA Tour events. Scott joined the Crown organization in 1987 and was responsible for the complete reorganization and financial turnaround of the golf operation at the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa. Scott is a class "A" member of the PGA of America and served on the Board of Directors of the Southern California PGA. He was also the Chairman of the Education Committee and served on the Employment and Club Relations Committee. He is a past recipient of the Southern California Merchandiser of the Year Award. Scott has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Florida.

Michael M. Schurer Mike Schurer, a CPA with more than 15 years of professional experience in the hospitality and real estate industries, brings to Crown Golf a unique blend of business management and financial accounting skills. Mike earned his B.A. in accounting from Rutgers University and has previously held key leadership roles at Marriott International's timeshare development company and in its corporate accounting and internal audit departments. Mike began his career in the Philadelphia office of Pannell Kerr Forster, where he gained valuable experience in the lodging, club, and real estate industries, and later worked for Arthur Young's Entrepreneurial Services Group in Reston, Virginia. Mike is responsible for managing the strategic planning process, investment oversight, financial reporting and administrative activities at Crown Golf.

Robin E. Kohlhaas Rob Kohlhaas has recently relocated to Glenview to serve as Crown Golf's Central Region vice president of operations. He will oversee golf operations at golf courses located in Arizona, Colorado, Illinois, and Wisconsin. Rob began his career with Crown Golf as general manager at Wildfire in Phoenix, Arizona and South Mountain in Draper, Utah. He was responsible for the start-up operations at both facilities that included budgeting, hiring and training all golf and F&B personnel. Previously, Rob worked at Redhawk Golf Club in Temecula, California and Carmel Mountain Ranch in San Diego. Rob is a class "A" member of the Professional Golfers' Association (PGA) and is a graduate of Penn State University.

Walter "Buck" Page As vice president-operations for the Pacific Region, Buck Page is responsible for Crown Golf's courses in California. Prior to assuming his current position in early 1996, Buck served as general manager/director of golf at Crown's Empire Lakes Golf Course in Rancho Cucamonga, California, where he coordinated start-up operations for this Arnold Palmer, resort-quality, public golf course. His accomplishments at Empire Lakes included the development of a first year operations budget; the hiring and training of all golf and F&B personnel; and the inception of guidelines, mission statement and daily plans for all departments. Before joining Crown Golf in 1996, Buck's wealth of golf industry experience included four years with Golf Enterprises, Inc. and six years with American Golf Corporation. A graduate of California State University-Long Beach, Buck is active in, and a class "A" member of the Professional Golfers Associates (PGA).

Scott Sickich Scott Sickich became vice president of operations for the East Region early in 1996 and has been involved in all phases of the golf business for more than 15 years. His experience includes public, private, and resort properties including Ojai Valley Inn & Spa, Whispering Palms Country Club, and Avila Beach Resort, where, as head professional/operations manager, he was primarily responsible for the financial turnaround and success of the seaside property. Scott attended the University of Montana and graduated from the San Diego Golf Academy in Rancho Santa Fe, California. He became a class "A" PGA member in 1987 and has served on the northern chapter board of directors as treasurer. In 1995, he was nominated as "Golf Professional of the Year" for his chapter. Scott continues to be active in the association through attending meetings and the continuing educational programs offered by the PGA.

Michael Purich Michael Purich has more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, marketing, and hotel and club management. Michael attended Harper College studying accounting and business law. Michael is continuing his education through the Education Institute of American Hotel and Motel Association and the Club Managers' Association of America. In 1988, Michael received the Honorable Golf Medal by the Geneva Executive Club for his achievements. Michael began his career as F&B Director at Chateau Louise Resort in Chicago and was quickly promoted to Gold Coast & Palmer House Gaslight Club as general manager. Michael's career involved management of some of the most highly recognized Midwest clubs, including St. Paul Athletic Club in Minnesota and Meridian Hills Country Club in Indiana, in addition to an extensive background in some of the most respected and profitable hotels and conference centers in the world. Michael has a proven track record of turning around unprofitable operations to profitable levels by increasing sales and quality and decreasing cost. Most recently, in one year at Stonebridge Country Club, Michael has made a $760,000 positive turn-around variance. Michael's background includes being instrumental in takeovers, evaluations, reconstruction, and reorganization of other clubs, conference centers and hotel/resorts.
